The purpose of this project was to design a comprehensive school-based program for children who exhibit trauma-related symptoms in schools, identify a potential funding source, and complete a grant application for children who experienced maltreatment at the Ontario-Montclair School District (OMSD). Multiple studies in the literature indicated that child maltreatment affect the child’s overall well-being and educational outcomes and experiences.
