Lingkungan dan Globalisasi: Solusi akan Relasi yang Problematik Studi Kasus Peningkatan Sampah Impor Indonesia Pasca National Sword Policy China Tahun 2018

Environmental problems caused by garbage are getting worse. However, this was even worse when China created a policy entitled National Sword Policy in 2018. One of the effects of this policy was an increase in imported waste in Indonesia due to diversion of garbage from exporting countries, which make the government of Indonesia changed its foreign policy related to imported waste. In this study, the author is interested in examining what is the best kind of regulation to support both human activites and the nature itself. The author also analyzed what are the factors that makes the government of Indonesia makes such change to the Indonesia’s policy regarding waste import. The research method that will be used by the author is a qualitative-descriptive method, in order to be able to provide a systematic picture of the process of changing a country's foreign policy, based on the theory of foreign policy change.Keywords: waste, import, regulation, foreign policy, National SwordMasalah lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh sampah semakin memburuk. Namun, hal ini bahkan mejadi lebih buruk ketika Cina membuat kebijakan bertajuk National Sword Policy pada tahun 2018. Salah satu dampak dari kebijakan ini adalah peningkatan limbah impor di Indonesia karena adanya pengalihan sampah dari negara-negara pengekspor, yang membuat pemerintah Indonesia mengubah kebijakannya luar negerinya terkait sampahimpor. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti apa jenis regulasi terbaik untuk mendukung aktivitas manusia dan alam itu sendiri. Penulis juga menganalisis faktor-faktor apa yang membuat pemerintah Indonesia melakukan perubahan pada kebijakan Indonesia mengenai impor limbah. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode kualitatif-deskriptif, agar dapat memberikan gambaran sistematis tentang proses perubahan kebijakan luar negeri suatu negara, berdasarkan teori perubahan kebijakan luar negeri.Kata kunci: sampah, impor, regulasi, kebijakan luar negeri, National Sword DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v8i01.217
