At the ‘wireless construction site’ trucks and bucket loaders complete transportation tasks co-operatively. The truck drivers send acknowledgements to the work site server, when a transportation task has been completed. The loaders send messages to the server after each loading event. This system enables the real-time management of trucks, bucket loaders, loads and even material administration. The driving force in this case is in the expected saving, when no material is lost and no extra kilometres or work hours can be charge
