PENGARUH LITERASI KEUANGAN TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN BIAYA HIDUP PADA MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI FKIP UNTAN PONTIANAK

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the financial literacy towards students' living cost management. In this research, the method used was descriptive method with the form of relationship studies. The research population comprised the 2017 adminisson year students economic education of FKIP Tanjungpura University, that consisted of 55 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling and the data are gathered from the results of questionnaire distribution to students. The result of this research showed that there was positive influence of financial literacy towards living cost management on students economic education FKIP, Tanjungpura University, indicated by the formulation Y = 18,492 + 0,774 X and obtained t count > t table was 5,884 > 2,013. Because t arithmetic > t table Ha accept and H0 is rejected, it means that there was a positive effect of financial literacy on living cost management in economic education students of the 2017 adminission year of FKIP Tanjungpura University. The amount of contribution R square = 0,429 it proved that financial literacy have an influence on students’ living cost management by 42,9%, the rest was influenced by other variable.
