GAYA BAHASA DALAM SERIAL MALAM MINGGU MIKO SERI PERTAMA KOMPAS TV

Abstract This research motivated by Malam Minggu Miko the series is one of the most popular show in Indonesia. Malam Minggu Miko the series is favored by the audience because it represents many teenager’s life. The purpose of this study is to describe the four sub-problems. The method used in this research is descriptive method and a form of qualitative research. The data source in this research is the dialogue text in Malam Minggu Miko the series, while the data in this study are comparative language style, conflict language style, linkage language style, and repetition language style. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques and documentary study techniques but were assisted by the video recording of Malam Minggu Miko the series was uploaded on Youtube account of Kompas TV. This study produce the following conclusions. There are 26 comparative language styles in this series. There are 31 contradictory language styles in this series. There are 20 styles of linked language in this series. There are 8 repetitive language styles in this series. Keywords: language style, Malam Minggu Mik
