PENGEMBANGAN BOOKLET BERBASIS DICOVERY LEARNING MATERI PENENTUAN LETAK UNSUR DALAM TABEL PERIODIK DI SMA KECAMATAN RASAU JAYA

AbstractThis study is entitled "Development of a Media Booklet Based on Discovery Learning Material Determination of Elemental Position in the Periodic Table in SMA Rasau Jaya District". The students of class X IPA have difficulty understanding concepts and solving problems. The teaching material used is still simple, little illustration, the color of the teaching material is monotonous and the sentence used is less communicative. The form of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The sample of this study was 6 students of X IPA 2 and 36 students of Class X IPA 1 of SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya. The data collection tool was a questionnaire of eligibility and student questionnaire responses to the discovery learning booklet based on determining the location of elements in the periodic table. Validation from experts has an average percentage of 87.0% (very high criteria). Student responses to small group trials have a percentage of 79.3% (high criteria). Student responses on large group trials have a percentage of 82.4% (very high criteria) It was concluded that the students' response to the discovery learning booklet based on the determination of the location of elements in the periodic table was very high.
