Class Gastropoda Prosobranchia, Ficidae Pyrula A genus of large marine gastropods having a pear- or fig-shaped shell. They have a large aperture and a long siphonal canal. The siphon of the mantle is long; the mantle folds back and covers partially the shell. The internal anatomy is described after cutting the mantle: ctenidium, heart with atrium and ventricle (light purple), reproductive male system (pink), digestive system with gland (green).Tavola parietale.
