Selective pressures on organisms are constantly changing due to multiple factors, such as climate change and the introduction of exotic species. Empirical evidence shows that interspecific interactions and evolution can have important effects on species distributions, independently or simultaneously. We are thus in need of models capable of describing the effects of both these factors, in order to better understand the drivers of species geographical distributions in a changing world.
