En s’appuyant sur les théories du multiculturalisme et des intentions identitaires, et en tenant compte des limites des études sur les minorités ethniques qui ont été menées exclusivement dans des contextes occidentaux et qui ne permettent donc pas une généralisation théorique, cette thèse est une première tentative d’étudier les projets identitaires dans un contexte non-occidental, qui est l’état du Qatar. La présente recherche offre une perspective originale et unique sur l’étude des minorités en se focalisant sur le groupe d’accueil qui constitue ici le groupe minoritaire dominant culturellement.
