Pendant mon travail de thèse, j’ai caractérisé le développement d’un biofilm multi-espèces en canaux milli-fluidiques sous flux constant de milieu nutritif. J’ai tout d’abord mis au point l’utilisation d’un nouveau rapporteur fluorescent sur un biofilm d’Escherichia coli. J’ai montré les limites des rapporteurs classiques de type GFP sur le système et introduit la protéine FAST à fluorescence inductible pour les dépasser. Avec ce nouvel outil, j’ai ensuite étudié la formation d’un biofilm multi-espèces, issu d’un biofilm naturel adapté au laboratoire, constitué de Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt), Pseudomonas fluorescens (Pf), Kocuria salsicia (Ks) et Rhodocyclus sp.
