La restauration des fonctions endothéliales chez des individus âgés est indispensable pour assurer une homéostasie vasculaire et limiter l’apparition d’une dysfonction endothéliale, un évènement précurseur des maladies cardiovasculaires. L’objectif de ce travail de thèse a été d’évaluer l’implication et le rôle de Growth Differentiation Factor 15 (GDF15), respectivement dans le vieillissement de l’endothélium et dans la restauration des fonctions endothéliales lors de la sénescence.
