L'ostéosarcome est la tumeur osseuse primitive maligne la plus fréquente chez les enfants avec 150 nouveaux cas par an en France. La survie des patients n’a pas évolué depuis 30 ans, atteignant 70 % à 5 ans pour les patients présentant une forme localisée de la maladie, mais seulement 25 % en présence de métastases (20% des cas), aucun traitement ne montrant une efficacité suffisante chez ces patients métastatiques. Il est donc nécessaire de développer de nouvelles stratégies thérapeutiques.
