This is a good practice guide aimed at treatment providers to help reduce the number of unplanned discharges and increase successful treatment completions. It's purpose is to to describe good practice in improving engagement and retention in drug misuse treatment; improve treatment delivery, in particular for clients who are failing to benefit from treatment; and reduce the number of clients who have their treatment withdrawn
