The following files were built from minute-basis solar radiation measurements taken from the Baseline Surface Radiation Network (BSRN) [1] and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) [2]. Solar radiation data from a total of 52 stations across the world was acquired from these sources and then submitted to the quality check procedure described in [3]. Global clear sky irradiance was calculated for the qualified data points, using the simplified Solis model presented by [4]. This model requires inputs of aerosol optical depth (700 nm) data and water vapor column data, which were obtained from the CAMS database [5].
