Tarihten Mitosa Türkiye Kültür Tarihinde Mitolojik Ali Tasavvurları

Having been the son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad the Prophet of Islam as well as the son of his uncle, Hazrat Ali was an important historical figure in the history of Islam, for being one of the first Muslims, his courage in the holy wars, his caliphate and his struggle for the caliphate and his being killed. In the context of different Islamic perceptions in the various communities that emerged in the course of centuries, throughout the Islamic cultural circle in general and Turkey’s cultural field in particular turning human Ali into a mythological figure also constitutes a historical fact as much as his personality. Turkey’s cultural field is also included in the areas where these traditions exist, which can remember Hazrat Ali together with the archetypal belief patterns carried in collective memory and accept Ali as a historical reality beyond time and space. It is understood that this form of reminiscence is shaped in the context of certain political, religious, sociological, economic and psycho-social conditions and needs, and evolved and passed on to the next generations. This study, which aims to understand the processes of shaping, evolving and transferring the belief patterns that reveal the mythological Ali figure and its functional analysis; it can be said that the study is a mythology-oriented psycho-social history experiment which is within the scope of collective memory, culture and history of religions. The subject is approached in the means of Turkey’s cultural and historical context and the stages that the process has undergone in different geographies and cultural fields until this area and context are also mentioned.İslâm Peygamberi Hz. Muhammed’in amcasının oğlu ve damadı olan Hz. Ali; ilk Müslümanlardan olması, gazalardaki cesareti, halifeliği, halifelik mücadelesi ve öldürülüşü gibi hususlarıyla İslâm tarihinde önemli bir tarihsel şahsiyet olarak yerini almıştır. Yüzyılların seyri içerisinde İslam kültür dairesi genelinde ve Türkiye kültür sahası özelinde beliren muhtelif topluluklardaki farklı İslâm algıları bağlamında insan Ali’nin mitolojik bir figür haline dönüştürülmesi de en az şahsiyeti kadar tarihsel bir gerçeği oluşturmaktadır. Hz. Ali’yi; kolektif hafızada taşınan arketip inanç örüntüleri ile birlikte anımsayabilen, zaman ve mekân ötesi Ali figürünü tarihsel bir gerçeklik olarak kabul eden bu geleneklerin mevcut olduğu alanın içerisinde Türkiye kültür sahası da yer almaktadır. Söz konusu anımsama biçiminin; birtakım siyasî, dinî, sosyolojik, ekonomik ve psiko-sosyal şartlar ve ihtiyaçlar bağlamında şekillendiği ve evrilerek sonraki nesillere aktarıldığı anlaşılmaktadır. Mitsel Ali figürünü ortaya çıkaran inanç örüntülerinin; şekillenme, evrilme ve sonraki nesillere aktarılma süreçlerini anlamayı ve işlevsel tahlillerini hedefleyen bu çalışmanın; kolektif bellek, kültür ve dinler tarihi kapsamlarına giren mitoloji eksenli bir psiko-sosyal tarih denemesi olduğu söylenebilir. Konuya Türkiye kültür sahası ve tarihi bağlamında odaklanılmış, sürecin bu sahaya ve bağlama gelene kadar farklı coğrafya ve kültür sahaları içerisinde geçirdiği merhalelere de değinilmiştir
