El Yaralanması Geçiren Bireylerde Yaralanma Nedeniyle Oluşan Rol Değişimlerinin İncelenmesi

This study will examine how the roles of the individuals with hand injuries alter before and after injury, and determination of factors affecting role changes after injury. The study was benefited from Role Checklist evaluating the role performance and value, EuroQol 5D (EQ-5D) measuring the quality of life, Profile of Mood State–Short Form measuring the psychological problems, Michigan Hand Outcomes Questionnaire determining how well the individuals do their habits, Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia measuring fear of movement/re-injury of the individual, and Modified Hand Injury Severity Scoring (MHISS) used to determine the severity of injury level of individuals. It was founded after injury, the individuals experienced a statistically significant loss of a role in the roles of worker, caregiver, home maintainer, friend, religious participant, and hobbyist/amateur (p<0.05). Moreover, it was detected the individuals considerably cared about the role of a family member, student, and caregiver, respectively. It was discovered there is a statistically negative relationship between the number of the individuals’ role loss, EQ-5D index score (p<0.05, r:-0.204), overall hand function (p<0.001, r:-0.380), 1-handed ADL (p<0.001, r:-0.405), 2-handed ADL (p<0.001, r:-0.357), overall ADL (p<0.001, r:0.335) and the result of work (p:0.001, r:-0.289) and satisfaction (p<0.001, r:-0.319), whereas there is a statistically positive moderate relationship between the number of the individuals’ role loss, pain (p<0.001, r:0.359), the number of people lived with (p:0,022, r:0,201) and the result of MHISS (p:0.002, r:0.265). Besides, it was determined women faced a five times greater risk of loss of role than men. It is concluded the inclusion of individuals, especially women, with a hand injury in the treatment program by examining the loss of roles, which they have experienced after an injury, in detail has a vital role in the success of the intervention plan and increasing the quality of life.Bu çalışma el yaralanması geçiren bireylerin yaralanma öncesi ve sonrası sahip oldukları rollerinin nasıl değiştiğinin incelenmesi ve rol değişimlerini etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla planlandı. Çalışmamızda rol performansını ve role verilen değerleri değerlendiren Rol Kontrol Listesi, yaşam kalitesini ölçen EQ-5D Genel Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (EQ-5D), psikolojik sıkıntıyı ölçen Duygudurum Profili–Kısa Form, bireylerin sıklıkla yaptığı işleri ne kadar iyi gerçekleştirdiğini sorgulamamıza yarayan Michigan El Sonuç Anketi, bireyde hareket/tekrar yaralanma korkusunu ölçen Tampa Kinezyofobi Ölçeği ve bireylerin yaralanma ciddiyet düzeyini belirlemek için kullanılan Modifiye El Yaralanması Ciddiyet Skorlaması (MEYCS) kullanıldı. Bireylerin yaralanma sonrasında çalışan, bakım veren, ev işleri yürüten, arkadaş, dini faaliyetlere katılan ve hobi sahibi/amatör rollerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı rol kaybı yaşadıkları bulundu (p<0,05). Bireylerin en çok sırasıyla aile üyesi, öğrenci ve bakım veren rollerine değer verdikleri bulundu.
