Generally, in order to increase the road bearing capacity, base and subbase layer thicknesses can be increased. However, this method significantly affects the cost of the road. For this reason, this study examines the effects on cost by providing a more robust road construction by using various reinforcement types. The study consists of two main parts. In the first part, the effects of geotextiles, geogrids, and fiber reinforcements on the bearing capacity of the road and how the soil changes its behavior were examined with California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests.
