Background: Machine learning models have shown high performance, particularly in the diagnosis and prognosis of oral cancer. However, in actual everyday clinical practice, the diagnosis and prognosis using these models remain limited. This is due to the fact that these models have raised several ethical and morally laden dilemmas.
