The dominant species and Habitat Type code (European Habitats Directive 92/43 EEC) are: • Fagus sylvatica (9120, 9130 and 9150) • Quercus robur and Q. pyrenaica (9230) • Q. suber (9330) • Pinus uncinata (9430) • P. nigra ssp. salzmannii (9530) • P. pinea (subset of 9540) 2. R scripts to determine patchiness using the Korcak exponent B. This is computed both for the entire range of patch sizes and for size intervals using a segmented regression approach. Such intervals are automatically detected
