Childhood obesity is a health concern in the United States (US); obesity among children of Migrant and Seasonal Farm Working (MSFW) families exceeds that of other US Latino children. Childhood obesity is impacted by several factors; however, a crucial factor is parenting influences. Child nutrition intake and child-feeding styles have been associated with children’s weight status. As a result, knowledge about family’s dietary quality is needed to understand the parental role in the origins and prevention of child obesity in MSFW families.
