The purpose of this study was to gather perceptions from Pre K-12 public school educators in Idaho regarding their social media use and their opinions about social media use policy. The results of the study were intended to provide educational leaders in Idaho with information to facilitate policy development or revision. A survey was designed using Survey Monkey. Survey items were developed during the literature review and piloted before hand. These items were categorized as social media use for education, social media policy development, and balance between administrative control and individual rights.
