The National Drug Advisory and Treatment Service, was established in 1969 and is now known as the Drug Treatment Centre Board (DTCB). This reports on developments in the DTCB during 2000. The DTCB was established by statutory instrument in 1988 is currently located at Trinity Court, Pearse Street in Dublin. Funded by the Eastern Regional Health Authority (ERHA), the DTCB provides quality client-focused prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare programmes for out-patients and in-patients. The DTCB also operates a National Drug Analysis Laboratory and staff are involved in a number of research projects and government committees
