The complexity of the treatment of drug and alcohol dependency is reflected in the constant changes in policy towards treatment and the many therapeutic models that exist. Using research, discussion of literature and clinical examples to illustrate theoretical positions, this book explores why arts therapies offer such an appropriate and effective treatment approach.
