The Paris Agreement indicates that in the coming years, the world is going to move to a low-carbon economy, and the energy sector should be responsible for promoting big changes in the global climate scenario. The terms of the agreement are comprehensive and ambitious, based on common but differentiated responsibilities among countries, and the energy guidelines and contribution targets of developed and developing countries differ in many points.
