Abstract

Classification criteria for the ANCA-associated vasculitides (AAV) were developed in the 1980s, prior to the routine use of ANCA testing. The Diagnostic and Classification of the Systemic Vasculitides (DCVAS) study is an international collaborative project to update classification criteria for each type of systemic vasculitis.
