Employee turnover is a critical problem in the healthcare industry. Employee turnover negatively impacts an organization\u27s profits and replacement costs, such as training, onboarding, and developing new healthcare employees. Guided in the concept of transformational leadership theory, the purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore strategies assisted living facility managers use to reduce employee turnover. Using semistructured interviews to collect data, the targeted population encompassed 6 organizational managers from 3 southeastern Pennsylvania assisted living facilities who successfully reduced employee turnover.
