The purpose of this study was to examine the parental perceptions of cultural support provided by audiologists, specifically to bilingual Latino families who have a child 5 years or younger with a bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. More specifically, the researcher investigated these perceptions of provided support during the auditory habilitation process. These results indicated that families were receiving sufficient cultural support from their primary audiologist. In addition, families felt strongly about preserving and passing along their Spanish language and culture to their child with a hearing loss
