Introduction to data visualisation with D3.js

In recent years, D3.js (Data Driven Documents), a Javascript library, has become the standard tool for creating interactive visualisations of (large) data sets. D3.js is a flexible tool that can be bent to the researcher's needs. Furthermore, it adheres to the different web standards which makes any visualisation immediately publishable online. The workshop aims to introduce data visualisation as a research field and show a selection of Humanities applications out there.
