Arizona State Museum Archaeological Series 175.A small portion of the Hardy site, a large, pre-Classic Hohokam village, was excavated by University of Arizona students and other volunteers between 1976 and 1978. The portion of the site that was excavated revealed houses and associated features dating from the Sweetwater or Snaketown phase through the Late Rincon subphase.
