EFEKTIVITAS TERAPI MODALITAS PADA LANSIA YANG MENGALAMI KESEPIAN

Pendahuluan: Kesepian merupakan masalah psikologis yang sering dialami oleh lansia, adanya perasaan kesepian biasanya terjadi karena merasa tidak dihargai, tidak di pedulikan dan merasa sendirian. Hal ini mengharuskan adanya upaya untuk melakukan terapi modalitas sebagai terapi non farmakologis yang di lakukan pada waktu luang. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi modalitas pada lansia yang mengalami kesepian. Metode: penelitian dilakukan dengan literature review. Kriteria yang digunakan dengan kata kunci “terapi, lansia dan kesepian” berdasarkan hasil penelitian di temukan 6 penelitian dari google scholar terdapat 2 artikel internasional dan 4 artikel Nasional. Hasil: terapi musik, life review therapy, reminiscence therapy, group hope therapy dan Terapi Aktivitas Kelompok art therapy dapat memberikan dampak positif kepada lansia. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa pemberian terapi modalitas efektif untuk menurunkan kesepian pada lansia. Petugas kesehatan diharapkan mampu menerapkan terapi modalitas pada lansia yang mengalami kesepian sehingga para lansia ikut berpartisipasi dan menjadikan lansia lebih produktif. Kata Kunci: Terapi modalitas, Lansia, Kesepian Introduction: Loneliness is a psychological problem that is often experienced by parents, feelings of loneliness usually occur because they feel unappreciated, unnoticed and feel alone. This requires an effort to perform modality therapy as a non-pharmacological therapy that is carried out at leisure. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of modality therapy in the elderly who experience loneliness. Method: the study was conducted with a literature review. The criteria used with the keywords "therapy, elderly and loneliness" based on the results of the study found 6 studies from Google Scholar there are 2 international articles and 4 national articles. Results: music therapy, life review therapy, memory therapy, hope therapy groups and group therapy activities can have a positive impact on the elderly. It can be concluded that the administration of modality therapy is effective in reducing loneliness in the elderly. Health workers are expected to apply modality therapy to the elderly who experience loneliness so that the elderly participate and make the elderly more productive.
