Eatscape is a fluid landscape that composes of activities related to commensality. Commensality emphasizes eating in collective sense where people share a common physical and social setting. The challenge of space for the common needs discussion beyond the classroom. Since 2009, I worked with architecture and urban design students in Europe, Asia and Latin-America where space for the common are much more fragile than of those in Europe. In all these workshops the students were given Eatscape Designerly Approaches (EDA) that involves fieldwork, performance and installation in reality.
