The food and drink sector is an important industrial sector in Belgium. Collective bargaining is structured on the sectoral level by dominant joint committees for blue-collar and white-collar workers. Although a patchwork of subcommittees exists for specific niches, bargaining is coordinated and organised by FEVIA as the only employers’ organisation and the three traditional unions on the workers’ side (in total six sector/occupational federations).status: publishe
