This study aims to find the factors that affect women’s labor force participation rates in Saudi Arabia. Past literature on the topic may be limited, but explore different variables, such as past policies, education, or social norms, and how they affect Saudi labor force participation in women. In this study, an ordinary least squares approach is used on data from the General Authority of Statistics to test the effects of explanatory variables on the labor force participation. The results of the model show that past policies may be efficient at increasing overall labor force participation.
