Trangsan is the name of a village in Gatak sub-district, Sukoharjo, Central Java. This village is known as the center of the largest rattan handicraft industry in Sukoharjo Regency. Although it does not have its own rattan plantation, this village is able to supply rattan raw materials from certain areas to be processed into various handicrafts and furniture very well. Apart from being a product made by the local community, rattan handicrafts are works of art with high aesthetic value. Therefore, this rattan craft is not only in demand by local people, but also by many foreigners.
