Manajemen Privasi Komunikasi Pengguna Instagram Dewasa Dalam Menggunakan Fitur Instastory

Communication is one of the most important components in human life. With communication, a person can convey what messages or what information he wants to convey to others, either directly or indirectly. The internet as a new media including Social Networking Sites (SNS) or Social Media is a communication medium which is an important requirement for humans today. In communication, privacy remains important in it. Therefore, each communicator has his own privacy management rules. Not only when carrying out direct communication activities but also when using communication media including social media. In this study, it is discussed how users of their private organizations use the Instastory feature on Instagram social media. Which privacy management is based on the criteria of Communication Privacy Management (CPM) or Communication Privacy Management and is seen in the usage strategy when using the Instastory feature on Instagram. Informants tend to have different reasons behind their assistance for their privacy re-assistance when using the story, including the risks and benefits they find when deciding to open information in the instastory, the motivation that encourages them to share information through stories, contextual reasons why prefer the Instagram platform to share information, how gender will influence informants in deciding information, and how culture influences their decisions in information through stories. In addition, this study will also discuss the strategies of the informants in the organization by using the instastory features provided by Instagram
