Hubungan Usia, Pendidikan Dan Paritas Ibu Dengan Pengetahuan Kesehatan Mental Ibu Hamil Di Kota Surakarta

Everyone is at risk for mental health problems, including pregnant women, who experience physical and psychological changes. Depression is a common mental health disorder. Lack of knowledge regarding changes during pregnancy plays a role in depression. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, education and parity of pregnant women with the mental health knowledge of pregnant women in Surakarta. The analytic observational research design was carried out with a cross sectional approach. The population in the study were all pregnant women in 12 health centers in Surakarta City (Gambirsari, Jayengan, Pucang Sawit, Ngoresan, Sangkrah, Nusukan, Gilingan, Manahan, Kratonan, Purwodiningratan, and Penumping) with a total sample of 150 respondents obtained using accidental techniques. The research instrument is valid and reliable. Data analysis using Chi Square test. There is no relationship between the age of pregnant women and mental health knowledge (p-value 0.464). There is no relationship between education of pregnant women and knowledge of mental health of pregnant women (p-value 0.433). There is a significant relationship between parity and knowledge of mental health of pregnant women (p-value 0.041). Mental health has not been a major concern for pregnant women at various ages of pregnant women and educational backgrounds. However, parity determines the experience of pregnancy the mother has experienced, so it becomes a source of mental health knowledge during pregnancy.
