Tayangan Film Kartun Anak Di Televisi Dan Dampaknya Bagi Perilaku Siswa Kelas V SD Muhammdiyah 16 Surakarta

This study aims to describe (1) the types of cartoon film shows on television that affect student behavior, (2) the positive and negative impacts of cartoon TV shows on student behavior, (3) what efforts teachers can make to reduce the negative impact of shows cartoons on television about behavior. This type of research is qualitative research. The research location is in SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data Validity Test uses source and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display, and verification. Findings (1) Cartoons are television shows that affect the behavior of fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta. Upin and Ipin cartoons are favorite shows for almost all students. 2) The negative impact of television shows on the behavior of fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta is aggressive behavior, while the positive impact of cartoon television shows is a change in behavior to be able to respect one another and not lie to others, and 3) Efforts made by the teacher in reducing the negative impact of television shows on the behavior of students of class V SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakareta is to approach and provide guidance to parents to be able to be selective about television shows watched by students at home
