This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the number of unemployed in the district/city of East Java Province in 2018. The data in this study are cross-section data, so that the analysis tool used is multiple linear regression (Ordinary Least Square). The variables used include the number of unemployed as the dependent variable and GRDP, regional minimum wages, population and HDI as independent variables. The results showed that the variables that had a significant effect on the number of unemployed included GRDP, population, and HDI, where these variables had positive regression coefficients. Meanwhile, regional minimum wages were found to have no significant effect on unemployment
