Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan Mangrove Tahun 1999,2009 dan 2019 di Kawasan Muara Sungai Jali, Purworejo - Muara Sungai Bogowonto, Kulon Progo

Mangrove is one of the ecosystems that live between the Jali River and the Bogowonto River. The mangrove ecosystem has continued to change over the last 20 years. These changes need to be done mapping to determine the location and area of the existing mangrove changes. This research aims to (1) Map mangrove spreads in the research areas of 1999, 2009, and 2019, (2) identify the pattern of the distribution of mangrove changes (3) Knowing the factors that affect the occurrence of mangrove land cover change in the research area. The study used remote sensing data i.e. Landsat 7 ETM + image recording year 1999 and 2009 and Landsat 8 OIL year image 2019. The mangrove land cover is mapped digitally through the interpretation of Landsat 7 ETM + and Landsat 8 OLI's imagery using the sample ROI method on each land cover class. The interpretation result is then classified by supervised maximum likelihood method. The result of this classification is then done test the accuracy/check field to know the location of changes, change patterns and factors that cause changes. This research shows that there has been damage to mangrove forests that occurred during the period of 20 years with the changing land area is 647.37 Ha (1999) to 577.59 Ha (2009) to 488.75 Ha (2019). The change in mangrove cover occurs in 11 villages with a percentage change of 2% every 10 years from the previous area. Gedangan Village is a village that is experiencing the development and increase of mangrove area compared to other villages. The change of mangrove that occurs has a random pattern (scattered uneven) because of the natural factors that are diseases and pests that attack the mangrove plants as well as adaptation capabilities that are less due to the closure of the river estuary of Bogowonto, as well as human factors that do excessive exploitation and over the function of land to farm land
