The aim of this study is to identify the romantic love between Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars novel. The type of this research is qualitative research. The researcher used two data type’s namely primary data, primary data from this research is The Fault in Our Stars novel and secondary data of this research is theory including references and materials relate to the study. The result of this study is the relationship between Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters can be categorized as romantic love because it fulfills the components of romantic love and their relationship cannot be categorized as consummate love because they are not adult. Children cannot commit
