Perbedaan Pengaruh Balance dan Strengthening Exercise terhadap Aktivitas Fungsional Pasien Penderita Osteoarthritis Knee di Puskesmas Tambakboyo, Mantingan

Osteoarthritis is a joint disease that has a characteristic that is the occurrence of degradation of joint cartilage. Pain is a major complaint that is often felt by patients in the condition of knee osteoarthritis and will affect the functional activities of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of balance exercise and strengthening exercise on increasing functional activity in patients with OA knee in Tambakboyo Mantingan Health Center. Data collection in this study was carried out in Tambakboyo Health Center, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java in November-December 2019. This type of research is a single-case study with A-B-A research design type. The population in this study was the population in this study were all patients with Knee Osteoarthritis who were in the puskesmas at Tambakboyo Puskesmas, Mantingan. While the sample used in this study amounted to 2 Knee Osteoarthritis patients. Based on the results of the study note that there is an effect of providing balance exercise and strengthening exercise to increase functional activity in patients with OA knee in Puskesmas Tambakboyo, Mantingan, Ngawi, East Java. besides that based on the results of the study also concluded that there is no difference that is too far a decrease in pain disability in patients after given balance exercise and strengthening exercise
