Analisis Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Kelas X SMA Batik 2 Surakarta pada Materi Fungsi ditinjau dari Self-Confidence

This study aims to analysis the mathematical communication skill in solving function problems in terms of self-confidence. The study was concluded at Batik 2 Senior High School involving 39 MIPA 2 students in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection technique used in this study are questionnaires, test, documentation, and interviews. The analyzing data used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analytical framework was developed based on mathematical communication skills’s indicator. The result of this study indicate that students with high levels of self-confidence have hight mathematical communication skills as well. And also students with low levels of self-confidence have low mathematical communication skills. From this result, it is concluded that student’s mathematical communication skills are influenced by their level of self-confidence
