Design of integrated switched-capacitor filters utilizing current amplifiers

Typescript (photocopy).A technique is proposed which allows for the design of low-power integrated switched-capacitor filters. In addition to low power consumption, the resulting structures require only small amounts of chip-area which makes such circuits competitive with respect to currently known designs. The proposed technique utilizes simple current amplifiers and allows for the realization of filters via two distinct approaches. The first method, to be called the s-domain approach, leads to realizations based on RC-active filter prototypes. The second method, the z-domain approach, results in the implementation of z-domain structures such as the 'coupled-form'. Theoretical and experimental results are given
