Purpose: The purpose of this work is with the help of a case study object called “ETC apartment houses”, make a comparison of possible energy related savings that can be achieved by building apartment buildings far better than the requirements set in BBR. The idea is that this should give a clear picture for entrepreneurs and property managers to promote energy-efficient building in the society. Method: In the study, three building categories were looked at to make a significant comparison of how energy use varies between different buildings.
