Results of stimulating regeneration of bone tissue with plasma rich in growth factors and adipose-derived stem cells

The aim of this study was to investigate the importance of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF) for bone regeneration in vivo and the influence of growth factors on stem cells’ osteodifferentiation, to evaluate alveolar ridge dimensional changes of different alveolar ridge preservation techniques after 3 months of tooth extraction, and to compare the efficacy of autologous PRGF for extraction socket regeneration in alveolar ridge preservation. Histomorphometric analysis was used to assess new bone formation in alveolar ridge preservation with PRGF, human heterologous bone substitute, and anorganic bovine bone. To improve bone graft material properties PRGF and ADSCs were selected. In the present study, in vivo model, we investigated the importance of ADSCs and PRGF for bone regeneration and the influence of growth factors on stem cell osteodifferentiation. In the clinical trial, we investigated the importance of PRGF for bone regeneration and extraction socket preservation in the upper jaw aesthetic area. The indications for extraction socket preservation / augmentation were created and validated. The results of this study will enable evaluation of the prospective use of autologous ADSCs in bone regeneration.
