Aim: To assess changes of pulmonary function indices and their significance for differential bronchial asthma diagnostics in young children with suspected or diagnosed bronchial asthma. Objectives: 1. To find out clinical features of 1 – 7 years old children, who had pulmonary function testing performed. 2. To evaluate the changes of pulmonary function indices. 3. To assess inflammatory changes in airways according to exhaled fractional NO values and to find out its importance for bronchial asthma diagnostics. Methods: In this study we analyzed medical records of all children who had pulmonary function testing performed during November 2018 – November 2019 in LUHS KK Department of Pediatrics.
