The Peculiarities of Pulmonary Function Testing in Young Children and Its Significance in Bronchial Asthma Diagnostics

Aim: To assess changes of pulmonary function indices and their significance for differential bronchial asthma diagnostics in young children with suspected or diagnosed bronchial asthma. Objectives: 1. To find out clinical features of 1 – 7 years old children, who had pulmonary function testing performed. 2. To evaluate the changes of pulmonary function indices. 3. To assess inflammatory changes in airways according to exhaled fractional NO values and to find out its importance for bronchial asthma diagnostics.
