Aim of the study: To investigate chronic kidney disease (CKD) progression risk links with clinical conditions frequently encountered in family physician’s practice. Objectives: To investigate the link between CKD and arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus (DM), obesity, metabolic syndrome and the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Material and methods: Data were collected as the part of EUROASPIRE V survey. Adults without a documented CVD who had been prescribed antihypertensive medicines and/or lipid-lowering medicines and/or treatment for diabetes were eligible for the survey.
