Relevance of the problem and aim of the work: Hepatitis B is a common problem in dentistry regarding great risk of percutaneous injuries, contact with infected blood, saliva. As dental students have less experience than do regular dentists, the implementation of standard universal precautions in dental schools and vaccination are the most effective way to control cross- infection.The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the knowledge of the students and residents of 3-5 LUHS dentistry courses about HBV infection control, individual protective measures and vaccination.
