Aim of the thesis: To investigate and improve intraperitoneally spreading cancer cells responce to HIPEC by modulating heat induced protein production. Tasks: Evaluate the amount of HO-1 gene and protein in cancer cells; Investigate changes in cell viability under HIPEC conditions after modulating HO-1 expression; Investigate changes in apoptosis under HIPEC conditions after modulating HO-1 expression. Methods : Gastric adenocarcinoma cell lines were divided into two groups. One was affected with inhibitory RNA, another was not. Both groups were exposed to 37°C or 43°C temperature with/without IC50 dose of cisplatin. Cell viability and apoptosis was evaluated. SPSS was used for statistical analysis.
