The Aim: To analyze the attitude of anesthesia nurses to collaboration between physician and nurse in anesthesia. Tasks: 1. To analyze the attitude of the nurses to physicians and nurses role in the team. 2. To find out nurses’ opinion about the barriers in nurses and physicians collaboration. 3. To compare the attitude of different educational level nurses towards teamwork. 4. To compare the attitude of nurses who has different work experience toward teamwork. Methodology: The research was performed in three hospitals in Kaunas. A one-time anonymous survey was used for this study. The instrument of the research is formed from two different scales: “The role of physicians and nursed in the team” (Thomas Jefferson University ,,Jefferson scale of attitudes toward physician-nurse collaboration“) and „The assessment of barriers in physicians and nurses teamwork“ (generated by the authors of this research). The statements of the questionnaire were rated using Likert scale (from 1 to 4). It is accepted that the attitude is positive when the assessment is more than median (>2.5).
